Just bought an Eagle 500c with the GPS receiver. Anyone have any experience with these? Also it didnt come with a transducer so I am currently looking for one of those. Where is the best place to mount the GPS up front?

i run mine on the console,, and i have a 500c fishmark for the front.. make sure you keep you reciete.. they have problems with the circuit board
is it a newer model I have one and love it. Th elder model has some problems with them
Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!
An actual transducer or the gps puck??? You can find the pucks on Ebay for a pretty reasonable price, like about half price.

I believe he needs the actual transducer.
If the transducer from my 320 will work for the 500 then I would like a puck to put towards the back of the boat for the 320.
It should that is what I use when I got mine but i had a 480 but it is the same unit
