I'm off of work for 16 days starting this weekend and I'm getting the fishing bug really bad. I've never been to Coffey County before, can anyone give me any tips for this time of year there? don't really care what i'm fishing for either!

i was also curious if a guy can fish that from the bank in the hot water discharge area?
Make sure you have a comfortable life jacket. You must wear it at all times when in the boat.

I know you can fish off the bank but I don't think you can in the hot water discharge. If the wind is blowing more than 20 mph in any direction they call you off
Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!
Hey Travis... Sooner Lake might be a little closer for you.. it is power lake.
no bank fishing in Hot water Discharge area,, bank fishing at Boat ramp , but not good this time of year
