    what a joke
Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!

Really tells me that they could not interest ANY high profile coaches for the job Don't get me wrong, What Snyder did was INCREDIBLE, but that (and HE) is in the past. I feel his game was leaving before he left and this is just a desperate attemp at past glory and recruits.

K-State just took TWO steps back IMO.

Good short term fix. They are immediately better with him at the helm and if he can groom somebody ASAP that could takeover in a few years, they will be alright. It's an uphill battle competing against the Big 12 South, esp. in terms of recruiting.

While I don't necessarily agree with the hiring I don't think we took 2 steps back. Prince already had us up against the wall and there was no where to turn. We are without a doubt better off than we were a few weeks ago. I don't think we will take the big 12 next year just because he took the job but we will be better off. I think that the loose lips that broke the Patterson story early are what screwed us. That killed any chance we had with him. I heard we went from $2mil a year at first offer and then $2.5mil a year after the story broke and we had to do damage control.

I would much rather go with Snyder for a couple years until we find the right coach than go with a some no name guy again.

I agree 100%. When the Stoops brothers, Mangino, and Venables (sp?) left so did all the good recruiting. The only possibility for this to be a good thing is if Snyder can find some really good assistants that can recruit their butts off. We all know Snyder can't recruit worth a chit

It's gonna get old seeing QB sneak left, QB sneak right, option left, and option right for the next 3 or 4 years. God help us

    Re: And he's back (hooks2bset)

It still makes me very curious who it was on the flight to Manhattan from Texas last week? It was rumored to be Patterson but apparently not, I wonder if it was a assistant coach prospect or what.

I am looking forward to the press conference in 5 minutes to see what they have to say.
