Much better handling vibration not much difference on my boat . much more control at high speed . solids for me please ,it is a little pricey to put the top ones in as the power head has to be lifted up on the merc .I had a shop put mine in

Other than the increased vibes.....solid mounts are a NECESSITY on any boat that runs over 80, especially on a v-bottom. Driving a hi-perf boat with rubber mounts is akin to driving it with a rubber band. On my own boats, you could grab the lower and make like an animal and the motor didn't move AT ALL. This is of course, my opinion. It does make for a much safer ride all around. Did you ever notice when you stomp on it the motor torques over hard? You have to compensate by turning the wheel 180 degrees......solid mounts keep the motor straight and true.....:)
