FREAKIN BPS CHARGERS

Went to work on the bildge pump this weekend and found the batteries dead as a door nail...AGAIN! I've gone through two of these chargers in just over two years. Right after the warrenty ran out of course. Now the ones they sell have a two year warrenty but I don't think I want to mess with it. What are you guys running in your boats? I've spent so much in fishing stuff over the past month already, and now I have to drop more on this.

I would call the company and tell them that its your 2nd or 3rd charger and they should send you a new one...i had one go bad and they sent me a brand new one and the one that i had was like 3 years old...so dont count the company out. call them...I think Promariner makes them

I run a 45 amp (3/15) Dual Pro. I had one bank go bad and they sent me a new one in a couple days with a postage paid box so I could send the other one back. You don't need a receipt or anything, you just give them a serial number and if it's less than 3 years old you get a new one, no questions asked, plus they will stamp the charger with a decal specific to your boat, so my charger says Triton on it and looks factory installed.

Also have a stealth charge while you run device but I haven't installed it yet.

Same thing. Had one go bad called and they sent me a new one in three days. With service like that I won't own anything else.

I found a refirbed Dual Pro SE for 220 shipped. I think I'm going to go with that.

BPS said to send mine back and they should replace/refund me for it. The whole process could take a month and they have no record that I bought it. We'll see how it turns out.

hey there,
just checking, was it dualpro or charging system international that gave you a new charger with just the serial number. I do not have a receipt and I got a new one on ebay so this is good news. Hopefully I do not need it.
by the way does a long extension cord affect the charging system ie only 105 volt at one end.
