12 pounds on Pomme is a good showing based on what I have seen at that lake. Congrats to him![]()
An excellent effort indeed, coming from firsthand experience.![]()

Pete is a good fisherman. He is in the Olathe Club with me. I recruited him last year. In his first year he won the club. Won just about ever thing you could the first year.
He is a great guy.
Congrats Pete.

This is my 1st post (virgin no more). I am MR BASS 2008!!! It feels great. Thanks to all who have posted. When I heard about this board, I had to join. I am still pretty new around here. I appreciate all of the nice comments. It is true, Richard did recruit me into the Olathe Bass Club last year. Glad to have joined and have the chance to fish against the best in Mr. Bass. It was tough. I figured out a quality jig pattern fairly early and ended with a 12.61 lb. limit. Shock is still what I feel to this day. Again, thanks for the thanks.
Good Fishin' 2 All!
Welcome to BBC and congrulation on the Mr Bass award![]()

Congrats! What brand/kind of jig did you use for the win?
Eakins Jig, 5/16 oz, orange/brown, yum salted craw trailer.
I had 1 short and my smallest keeper on a baby brushhog. Nothing but quality bites on the jig. Never missed one either (that I know of).
