Buddy was fishing Grand this weekend. Caught a 27" 9lb hog!!! I saw pics on his camera phone. It was a giant. Of course it was pre-fishin....

WOW - Grand is was nasty 12th and 13th Iwas there! Straight line winds up to 40 mph! Lake was chocolate milk! That makes that fish even better! Great job to him!!!!!!

IT was Fat Doug that caught it. I saw the camera phone pics of it. Didn't look big since he is a big guy, but looking at his rod (reel) compared to the size of the fish's head, it was truly a muster. He was holding the rod next to the fish for comparison..

I think I know who he is, runs a pretty nice rig if i remember right.


I think he might be the guy (not positive though) I witnessed unhook his boat, back down the ramp, punch the brakes, send the boat out into the water unmanned, then he goes and parks the truck as the wind casually blows the boat perfectly into a boat slip at Thunderbird
