Anybody used a Fury on a Toon Yet??

Just wondering if anyone has used or has a review of the Fury prop on a 225 Pro XS. Also if they have used it on a TR-21X? I was thinking of getting one but wanted to see if it would help speed any. I would be looking at a 26. I have a 26 trophy now and works well on the whole shot and top end. I just put trim extenders on it and it bumped it up about 1.4 mph loaded. Thanks for any input.

From what I've been reading about the Fury, you would likely need a 25 pitch. The rule of thumb for the Fury is to step down one pitch for the same RPM level.

21 hp w/250 Pro XS, 10inch atlas jackplate and 26 fury.
full of gas 1 person 79.1

20 hp (same set up)

from what I understand they had weighted bags to make up for tackle...

I ran basically the same boats and I thought that the 20 HP didn't favor the 26 fury. I have been seeing higher #'s with the 27 trophy. But the hole shot and mid range was awsome with the FURY.

I had a GPS on hand for most of them and saw basically the same #'s. I never saw any weighted bags in the boats at the dealer meeting (water tests).</TD></TR></TABLE>
