Should I put down now or in the very near future to eradicate the grubs that moles feed on? Don't want the moles returning this year.

weed and feed I think.........there are a lot of stuff you can put down but I think you can just use a grub controller too............around here grass flees seem to be my things.....havnt found anything to kill them bastages yet![]()
I would go to a nursery or commercial lawn supply company and get the good stuff. There is a product that costs about $60, it is some high powered worm looking things but I can't remember the name. Don't waste your money on the stuff from wally world and home depot, they don't work.
i feed my mole removel team Alpo,,, get a good crop of them Moles Bob , and i will bring Sadie and Queenie up,, the'll get them little sucker for you![]()
Scotts is a great product, but I don't think the "weed and feed" product eliminates grubs. I think it's mainly for broadleaf and possibly a crabgrass preventer, along with fertilizer. I think you'll need one of those applications that ends in "ide".
well what you need is some C4 plastic, it worked for the gophers![]()
Bob - if you have a Grass Pad location near you (or you can find a retailer that handles it) there is a product called Dylox that you can put down now to take care of some of them, but the most effective we to kill them is wait until to see the first hint of June bugs then put down MERIT and water it in. It doesn't take a tome of water. Late May if the time frame for MERIT.
Just put down grass killer. Double duty: Keeps you from having to mow and keeps the grubs out of the yard.
Sorry no help here jus thought I would put my 2 cents in.![]()

SEVIN lawn insect granuals, it's good stuff but read the application warnings. It kills over 30 different bug and insects. You can buy it at walmart
Only thing bad about using gravel for yard or landscaping is it compacts the soil. If you or the next owner decides to plant grass will not have good water drainage and poor aeration into the soil. Thus will be hard to get and keep the grass established. Would probably have to till the soil up.
