Did you guys see the evening news

about the slaughter plant out in California? I'm not going to go into what they did with the cattle that couldn't walk due to various problems but it was sickening. Those SOB's should have their balls cut off and left out in the cold to bleed out.

This shouldn't really suprise me as my dad was a USDA inspector and inspected many locker plants and such and he really found it hard to eat any beef. He said the cattle that are allowed to be slaughtered, some are very nasty but they passed standards of the USDA.

I have no tolerance or patience for animal abuse. Doesn't matter if they are going to be slaughtered or not.

My daughter saw some footage of similiar stuff over a year ago with chicken,beef and pigs. Hasn't had a bite of meat since. Once in a great while she'll eat an egg.

I guess I'm lucky. My FIL gives us a beef every year. Best I have ever had. Don't think I could ever go back to store bought.

Kosher Butchering is becomeing more and more popular anymore.............Some peeps are even willing to pay the extra just to get it now...............I have heard about it......I agree it shouldnt be happening...................Wont stop me from eating Meats though.........but I will find out where its coming from....IE.....Beef from here in Nebraska......not saying its not getting done but I think we have a better chance of getting better Quality with Home Groan stuff more than from out of state.
