    Re: Later guys..................... (Hydrilla Gorilla)

NOT BAD........I didnt catch anything but that was not the mission. Both my Kids I had were good one of them kept changing stuff over and I told him that since were only fishing for about 2.5 hours that you should try and stick with only a couple techniques/baits and key on that! One of mine had a nice 13-14" fish on Jig but shook of before got in boat

I let them pick out the areas they wanted to fish.......Unfortunatly there choices in baits/locations did not pan out.....as did not do much for others as well last night there were a few fish caught but that was about it. Someone had a nice 2 pounder on Buzzbait.

As the Kids pounded the area I pitched a weighted Senko to trees ........I didnt get bit though storm was moving in too and thought the bite would turn on for the last half hour or so and didnt

We'll be at Pony Creek on Sept 8th next time though

That's great. Not that I have a lot of experience with junior clubs or anything, but I would offer that perhaps part of the mentorship process would be to assist them in picking the spots and baits and teaching them why you make those selections??? Regardless, great job

I tried that and they really dont have much for baits.......I also offered to them to use some of my stuff and one of them refused to......he said "all I'll do is loose it" ...............I told him I loose stuff too and if your not......your not getting to where the feesh are

Irregardless..............it was tough fishing last night for most of the crew......evewn a few season vets
