Anybody want to make some money?

Open a daycare in KC. We've talked to over 60 different places throughout the area and none have any available openings. Well I take that back, one for 1055/month and one for 1485/month. We're still looking in case any of you KC area people know anybody with anything open.

Well looks like we got a girl to come over and baby-sit thats in high school for the next week. And its only like 5-6 dollar/hour. I dont think I'm going to make enough to live in the city.

Tell me about....I have a 3 month old and its crazy...best I have found is going to an in home daycare person...normal rate to an infanct is 175 to 195 per week or 740 per month...that is for the olathe/lenexa/overland park area. check out kc.backpage.com and click on the childcare link... This should give you a few more options.

that sounds about right..............$250 to $300 per week for infant/child under age 2......cost goes down a bit after 2 but still damn expensive ...................its almost like they DONT want you to have kids and work for a living I guess.........

It is said a child costs around $200,000 + or - to raise to age 18, which doesn't include college. I think it's more than that. That's the reason for a lot of stay at home Moms nowadays. They can't make enough to justify working. There's always the Mr. Mom option, too.

I think I remeber someone else saying that once too.......I agree, I think it will take a hellava lot more than that to raise a kid no a days all I know is that its better that my wife works or we wouldnt be able to do/have some of the things we have right now.......my Salary alone would not be able to support us with heath care the way it is lately

Hey Steve....Yep I got a wife as well...got the whole damn package...lifes been so busy that I barely get to fish or think about fishing. I finally got the boat out for the first time about a month ago and that was just a quick two hour trip to Banner Creek to whack a few fish. Hopefully I can get back out and fish a few tourneys next year when things slow down some.
