    Melvin - Yates Center Lake

I need a decent place to fish this weekend - I'm definitely not going to the Dead Sea (El Dorado). How is YC doing?

    Thanks - Doc

I would suggest Harvey county east which is the original dead sea.

Ha. HA. "Dead Sea" It was just 12 or 15 years ago KDWP shocked up a state record, or so they claimed. Just curious how long has it been since you have fished there?

Was there last night for a jackpot. Winning total was just over ten pounds. Slot limit fish two over 18 three under 15. Everyone caught lots of fish between 7 boats with allot in the slot. I caught fish on a perch colored crankbait and a baby brushog junebug/red. The iron soldier will cost you 4 dollars. Great little lake if you like to fish either timber or allot of grass!!!!!!!

Thanks Matt. Don't know if the boss will let me out either, but if I get to go, I'll be driving the rig below -- silver Tahoe and a gunsmoke TR-20.
