Bassmaster says when they release water it creates a stong current and the fish move to the points...

On a side note, doing what bassmaster tells me has never helped

Possibly, but it doesn't mean they'll bite.

Alot of research, and time on the water is the key to finding fish, however like Jason said it doen't mean they will bite. I was with a guy one time in TX on Belton Lake, we were fishing in about 25' of water. This guy had a Accu-vu and we were seeing large SM and LM and nothing in the boat could get them to bite. We tried everything from Jigging spoons to Carlolina rigs. These fish were suspend about 1-2' off the bottom (shouldn't be that hard to catch) but simply would not eat.
