Marina's were off limits................Almost 8# to win, Dennis Hewitt and Sam Morton won. Don't know the other weights below that.
Word on the streets was that the docks were off limits. No casting to docks but the cove itself was free game.
8lbs ? WTH?
My partner fished it, but not sure how he did...

Sam said you could fish the marinas but no casting to the docks.
Thats what I heard. Wonder how that rule was enforced?
Not saying anyone cheated or anything. But, I would have thought it would have been better, and easier to just say the whole cove is off limits.

Sam Morton is a GREAT angler!Almost as good as you Dennis.
What exactly was the purpose of not allowing casting towards the docks? Just curious... Or the marina cove for that matter? Get loaded up from tourney releases??
From what I hear they were trying to level the playing field by not letting Dennis Hewitt and Sam Morton fish the docks and hammer everyone. They have one it for the last several years with that tourn. circuit has went to perry. I guess that didn't work either!

Be nice to be that good where people change the rules just for you.
Tell ya what Dennis knows just about every square inch of that lake. But, he does like to fish the docks which I can't say that I blame him.
