Re: How about El Dorado (Triton-T)

I was on El Dorado last Saturday. The lake is almost 6 FEET high and all of the boat ramps are marked "Closed - Use At Your Own Risk". I launched from Shady Creek Marine's maintenance ramp. Caught one short early on a BuzzBait in the marina where the water was quite clear. I then headed up the lake. The water looked like a chocolate milkshake and I got no further bites in 4 hours. Loaded up and had Shady Creek fix my trim gauge and decided to call it a day.

Once the water recedes and has a chance to clear, there are some decent fish to be had there. I lost one at the boat last summer that would have easily weighed 7#. However, it is NOT a numbers lake, and keepers can be hard to come by.
