    Triple shooting in KC

    Police investigate triple shooting

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Three people are shot while riding in their car and now police are searching for the gunman.
    The victims say they were in a car at 23rd and Van Brunt when they were shot, but managed to drive home to the 300 block of North Brighton to call police.

    All of the victims were shot in the upper torso, and their injuries are considered critical.

    I assume... I really don't know enough about KC other than how to drive through it to get to the other side.

    yep....my parents ended up there once by missing there exit. Ended up on Prospect avenue..............Van Brunt/Hardesty are within that area.......just East. Not the best area to be in anytime......they were there in daytime.


    Used to have an employee thaty had friends in North bottoms area I guess.....north of the river. Not as bad but still had some crime rate.........but I think you get that about anywhere anymore

    My office mate lives in KC K, not sure why other than he grew up there. I tell him at least once a week he needs to move his wife and 5 month old daughter out of there and head as far into the country as he can afford.

    did you see the crime rate link I posted......EVERYTHING is well above the "National Average" but then again.......so are most major metro cities

    I went back on there after I posted that to check on a few other cities........I was surpised to see Houston ranked LOWER than KC in those reguards then I looked at Lincoln and it was very low compaired to National Average

    Yep......i KNOW IT IS .......its bad when you hear about farmers getting stuff stolen all the time now.........and people wonder WHY the ol'timers wont let them hunt on there land anymore gee I wonder why...............then makes it harder for some folks to use it and keep it clean and right

    I used to work at 47th Paseo ( Funeral Home ).

    23rd and Van Brunt is not the best neighborhood in the area, but it is far from the worst. ( Would night want to go there unarmed ) but stay away from any area between 30th prospect and 63rd prospect.
