JSRE Jay and Cathy (Class Act)

I shipped my Promax to Jay to have it looked at after a recent rebuild and the leak down was terrible on it! Too make a long story some what short, Jay called me and told me what was wrong with it! I give hime the go ahead to fix it and he kept me updated on how everything was going !
He then called me and said " Hey man, Your Promax is ready for assembly and I want you too be here when we do it"!
I made plans and headed that way on a Thurs afternoon! About the time I was supposed to arrive Jay was calling and asking where I was at? I told him not far and we met for dinner!
Him and Cathy met me and my wife for dinner, ( which my wife was just along for the ride and not looking forward to having nothing to do..LOL) She really enjoyed it !!
I met Jay back at the shop at 7:00 am sharp too assemble the motor!
He had everything laid out for me too mic the pistons, the bore and the ring gaps. Though Jay did not know I knew how to read mics, Everything was perfect!!!
We assembled the motor and had it running by around 4 that afternoon!! It run perfect and I left there with it!
I have run 48 gallons of fuel through it and in Jay's words( It runs like a raped ape)!
    The accelaeration is awsome!
I could not be more pleased!

    +2 on the Class Act.

Jay invited me to witness the assembly of my motor but after watching him tear it down, I saw no reason to be there for the assembly process.

Wait a little while and you will probably get a Saturday night or Sunday phone call from Jay........."Hey, I just wanted to see how that new motor is running?".

He called me last week, a year after my rebuild, just to make sure my motor doing okay.

Customer service is one of those things that has been lost in today's society.

I will back it up that jay keeps you in the loop on the rebuild. Very informative, customer service is top notch. Got only about 10 hours on the rebuild & will be talking to jay once I'm back on the water end of this month.
