I made some remarks on the Ahearn thread over the weekend that were way over the top. I insulted Luke, Brad and probably many others by my idiotic comments. After thinking about it and feeling terrible about it all weekend, and since I don't like to make excuses, I would like to unconditionally apologize to Luke, Brad, Al & anyone else who read my stupid comments. I failed in my responsibilities as a Mod and a person. I have always strived to be a person of good character and class in all aspects of life and my actions in that thread are just not me and not what we want on this forum or any others.

..............while on the other hand you are entitled to your opinion as well as anyone else here. Even thoguh there might have been some comments that could have been taken out of content I still understand that you dont post stuff just to start fires.

I told Brad and Luke both that you are a great guy and you mean well, but you are very opinionated (which is fine). It's obvious that you are passionate about the things you believe in, and I, and probably everyone else reading on here think that is great. Some of your comments were out of line. No way around that. But I think that more people will respect you because you knew you were wrong and you admitted it on a public forumn. It would have been easy to forget about it, but I think it's great that you went the extra mile and started this thread. I am not sure about Luke and Al, as I don't know them very well, but Brad will excpet it. He gets over things quickly. Even though were great friends, we have had out spats before. Usually about sports....or how crappy Yamaha motors are or how sorry the Steelers are....
