Several simple ways to test ETEC injectors.
You can hookup and use the ETEC diagnosic software on your laptop to see what the injector error code is and then test and turn off an individual injector to confirm it is/is not working.
You can use a VOM to measure the coil resistance to see if the injector isopen or high resistance.
There is the brown paper test to see if the injector is shooting fuel in the cylinder when it shouldn't.
You can open up the injector and clean its filter screen.
Tthese methods are researchable in the BRP Evinrude service manual available to anyone and/or also discussed on the ETEC Owners Message board.
