Sure will try. Need to get chit done before end of fiscal........last 2 weeks of december are always stressful for me......especially this time.
Found out my moms uncle passed Sunday. Church Elder has been in hospital and was finally off vent and must have had a Stroke sometime after he went off vent.....my sister is coming up this year but I have to get her Thursday night in snow/ice storm and flight is expected to arive at 11:30 pm.....guess it will be delayed with weather now
.........OH and Christmas is still coming this weekend.
Other than that I think I'll be OK after someand I think I'm almost outta Crown so I'll be stoping by L.S. this weeke to get some re-freshers
....maybe some Knob Creek this time.

Morning! Thanks for the coffee. Going with my Father-in Law to shoot down a couple steers. After he shoots them he puts a rope on them and I use the truck to drag them into the trailer. Something to do besides stumping around the house all day.

Seems like a damn hard way to move cattle but to each his own....
Seriously though I didn't think Lockers let you bring in dead cattle anymore. Too many health scares.
My mistake, the cattle are just knocked out, not dead. And it's the easiest way when the wild things won't let you get them into a corral. That's why they are being sold.

I thought that was the case. I was wanting to know where you got it done elsewhere because we got pretty tore up rounding up the last of my grandpa's herd. Would have given anything to shoot the sorry SOB's.
The reason I asked is it reminded me of a story. My grandpa had a picture of his neighbor's 57 chevy towing a little lawn mower trailer with the guy's prize Jersey bull on the back. I guess he was in the middle of a week long whiskey bender and looked out the window and the bull was in his yard. He dropped the bull in it's tracks pushed it on the trailer and swung by my grandpa's house to get help to dump it off at the locker.
My father-in-law can do it himself. He gets called out all over down here to shoot them down. Didn't have to do it today after all. With me on the four wheeler and him with a stick we got them in the coral and got rid of the trouble. The one looked like it would kill me if it could get me off the four wheeler.
