    A New Bashing

Okay, we've bashed boats, motors and rifles... What about Crankbaits? I think we all know Jason likes the DT series and I like the Stealh Shad 200 in Pearl Ghost. Whats in your tacklebox?

Re: A New Bashing (Hydrilla Gorilla)

I have a pretty wide selection. I have wiggle warts and bandits mostly. I have also started throwing the RC1.5's. They are pretty nice little cranks.

Tend to favor Norman's...suspending Deep Little N is one of my all time-favorites...

Bomber's seem to have more luck with them, but have had some money fish on the big fat free shads. When I was in KC last Bob, picked up some of Cabelas cranks, broke the bills off at the Rally, didn't last long. The $2.99 ones.

My favorites are hot-n-tots and reef runners.

I've got a ton of old Poes wooden baits that I used to throw at Milford when I was stationed at Ft. Riley. Just sent a box off to Victor M in Florida to have them hand painted.

Re: A New Bashing (Hydrilla Gorilla)

Used to like the Poes Cedar 100/200 series.....had good luck with them and tried Bagley.....didntl work for all situations so I used some Norman N-series......have had good luck with most of them....Little, deep, thin and mad lines......only have 3 DD-22's and 14's.........also have some Bandit Traxx and 100's....mostly for shallow cranking....dont like deep cranking much .....recently used some LC stuff in last few years and like the newer RC series as well as the original CB line....again....only shallow cranks them. Other than that I have too many other types or different brands.....DT-6 has been good from time to time too

    Re: A New Bashing (tritonryan)

I haven't been able to bring myself to pay over $5.99 for a crankbait yet. Been looking at the lucky craft stuff, really look good, but the dollars are ridiculous...

    Re: A New Bashing (Whiteranger)

took me a few years to warm up to it too Sam but 1st thing I ever bought was an LC Pointer 100 in Amerrican Shad.......payed for itself and then some for the green's & brown's I have caught with it......I had a Bevy shad I was using once when fishing with RJ this spring and donked it on his Cowling.....split in half at that was all she wrote........made me think about getting another to replace it at $15.99 per unit......decided to get some RC1.5 cranks and have no regrets......only lost 2 so far but you better beleive that you pay more attention to where you cast it .......if its too nasty I'll swich to a Rapala, Norman or Bandit............only think I dont like about the Bandits anymore are the junk hooks......but I usually replace them with some Gammy trebles anyway

RJ couldn't spell MIDDLE N till I turned him onto them!!! I have been throwing alot of Lucky Craft RC 2.5' and 1.5. Absolutely the best non rattling crankbait I've ever thrown beats a balsa bait hands down!
