Anyone else fishing kbcf buddy this sunday? I'm not gonna get to prefish so I am looking for any info, other than how much the lake sucks. I personally like the lake and have done well in the past. I think the lake is on its way to a comeback but has its good and bad days. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the weekender event was really tough fishing. It's had some good stringers this year, though, so there's got to be a few fish to be found.

I think Melvin is fishing that, talked to him the other night about it. fishing will be tough right now with all the fronts. Forcasting windy this weekend. Watch yourself, bad lake when it is windy...Danger Will Rogers, DANGER !

well what's the verdict

Well, equipment failure really sucks. Apparently we had a bad battery in our 36v system. This meant the other 2 did all the work and the trolling motor was putting along by 11am. Had caught about 8 shorts and lost 1 keeper at that time. Not to mention a gazillion wipers. Ended up not weighing a fish. We were using popRs which turned out to be the right thing as 3 out of the top 5 teams did the same thing. Just couldn't cover any water. Sucks to have such high hopes and end up with boat load of frustration!
