2000 Johnson 150 running problems

Was at the lake yesterday fishing, and decided to move to a different location. I started the motor up, and when I gave it some throttle it died. The motor had been running great, before this happened. The motor will idle idle just fine, But when you give it some gas its like turning off the key switch. I checked the fire and I have fire on all cylinders. While it is idling with the cowling off I moved the throttle bar on the carbs and the motor revs up. When the lever from the timing moves is when it kills the motor. Could the stator be bad?

Try choking it when trying to take off....If it picks up, fuel problem, if not Electrical.

The motor still dies when choked, giving it throttle. Any ideas where to start on the electrical?

The timing roller was off. I moved it to the correct position, as shown in the pics. The motor still dies when I give it throttle.

Take a timing light and see if all 6 cylinders are firing, if not disconnect the shift interrupt switch first then retry if OK shift switch bad. If OK look at the spark plugs and make sure you have Champion QL78YC's installed. Gapped at .030.

Replaced all the plugs with the QL78YCs gap at 30. All cylinders are firing with timing light. I also ohmed out the shift interupt switch and it is good. Compression is around 119 to 122 on all cylinders. Motor still dies when you give it throttle.

Replaced the power pack. Im back up and running.
