This time next year there will be one in Olathe and Independence MO. I can't wait. 2 BPS within an hour of each other. I am never going to have any money.
I heard one of them is going to a little store and the other is going to be the real deal.
The Bass Pro in Olathe will open this fall some time..

HaleDamage, you can't be from my my home (when I'm not up at KSU). I live on 119th St. in Olathe which just so happens to be the same street that BPS is going in onI kid you not, I will be able to fish at night on the lake I live on and be able to see the lights coming from the BPS parking lot

The last time I drove by there it looked like not much has been done, they had a BPS semi there but hardly any construction. Its amazing how fast they can build stuff like that.
that was cool but than it will be more of a pain in the long run with traffic
Yep, traffic is starting to suck just because of the growth of Olathe, BPS won't help. To think 10 years ago we lived on a gravel road right across the street from a huge soybean field out in the county and now were right in the middle of everything. The lake we live on is like "the oasis" within the city now![]()
Small world cgs2004-- I live in the "old" part of Olathe.. Loula St. -- KSD--Court house just up the street.. One of those 100+ year old 2 story homes that will always need work on-- heck with the traffic-- I can ride my bike..

My have to look into a part-time job at BPS to help with my habit![]()

Yep, I know exactly where your at, more specifically I'm at 119th and Woodland.
If I weren't in engineering here at Kansas St. I would for sure apply for a summer job there but unfortuanlty I need to start looking for fancy internships that we engineering feel forced to do....maybe an internship at BPS
