just wondering if anybody braved the wind today?

You bet-- Hit Melvern------Winnnnddddyyyy -- did caught a fewalong the south bank jus west of the marina.. Tough fishing.. "Eats" and I pucked up some smallies- crappie and walleye -- all small.. Good time -- not to meny water skiers--etc..

Yesterday-- Clinton was also winnnnnndddyyy.. Took Jason's hint-- went up the river past the bridge..We really took our time through the Stump field. Man You really need to know the lake. Only hit a 3 stumps (going slow). Almost got stuck in the mud once. The Navionics map of clinton was not much help on finding the channel ..
Really a cool spot -- Eats caught a nice 4# LM-- and a 3# cat. I manage a couple nice 12" crappie. Not windy plus only a few fishing boats-- But lots of snakes.

I only fished from the bank. Caught 4 keepers at the marina.....They had the sunday morning deal. Only had 5 boats, 2 of which brought in a limit of LM. I think there was a total of 16 wish weighed in.....

I fished Pomona for awhile until we got blown off the water. We managed a few short LM in one of the State Park coves but that was it. We were hopping for a calm morning to get out and look for some white bass but the wind never let up.

Fished Pott2 yesterday for probably 30 minutes before the wife got hungry and cranky. Managed 3 LM with one going 15 1/2". Man was it windy.
