    04 175 Johnson

Rusty or Seahorse, what is the part # for the vapor separator gasket? i am going to check the float level. i talked to you earlier about this. after the motor has been run, it starts right up and then wants to kill, it does not do it all the time. if i keep hitting the key to prime it then it will go. the motor runs great and never misses a beat. When it acts up, i ease the hot foot down and keep hitting the key, then it tqkes off like hell. i have tried 3 primer bulbs and nothing helps. this motor starts and runs to 5500 rpm. i have never had an alarm or anything go wrong. is it the vapor separator, the shop manual does not tell me how to adjust the float level. thx

335236, its a rubber gasket (o-ring) and may not need replacing.

The float should be level with the gasket surface.

If it is an '04 let the dealer fix it you could void the warranty. CM
