    Retifier/regulator Bad?

84 Johnson 150 (J150stlcrd) I noticed the tach acting up and the motor appears to not be charging batt.
Also how do I tell if I have 10amp or 35amp?
Does flywheel need to come off to replace? (if so do I need puller?)

STL model indicates you have a 35 amp charging system (Stator) Yes flywheel has to come off to replace. Make sure your mating surfaces are clean. If you have wing nuts on your cranking battery change them to stainless steel hex nuts with lock washers.
