My fishing partner and I pulled this flag from the Henryville tornado debris on Sunday. Today we proudly put it up on top of his tornado damaged house. This is America....we will rebuild, we will do it fast, and we will do it right. Our small town may look destroyed, but make no bones about it, our community can overcome any obstacle. Thank you to all the volunteers who have come from all over the country, it is truly a blessing and I will shake the hand of each and every one of you I see.

My wife took the day off work to go up there and help today. She came home and said I'm taking off tomorrow too because these people need all the help they can get. I'm hopeful these people can get to some normalcy in the near future but I'm sure it's going to be very hard.

I think the main relief efforts are being organized by the churches in town right now. I don't have any contact info. on hand, but I know there are a lot of people who still need help. After 4 1/2 days town still looks about the same and everyone has been working long days to get it cleaned up.
@ Bigrod, for the people who haven't lost their homes, power is being restored pretty quickly. My fishing partner's house was about 100 yards from total destruction and his power was turned back on last night. The power companies from all over the country are here and working nonstop to help restore some normalcy. It's going to be a long time before the rest of life returns to normal in town though.

I was there Sunday working and you just don't know where to start this is so much devastation and when you quit it is still there. Everyone there needs lots of help and prayer would be good too1
