anyone fish merom powerplant lake anymore? was talking with a buddy about making a trip up there, havent decided whether to go there or another place yet, last time we went all that was caught was a 7 lber by my buddy

I live aprox 6 miles from Turtle Creek, and I haven't fished there in over 8 years. Stopped by to talk to the guard on duty last winter just to see what was happening. He told me how bad the lake is getting silted in. A good friend of mine that I fish tourneys with did go over there last winter just to get on the water, fished for 6 hours and never had a bite.
