    Weekend success!

After a slow opening weekend of hunting down at my farm in Breckingridge County, we had a pretty good weekend this past weekend. I hunted the entire day friday and saw 5 does and one really nice buck right at dark that I couldnt get a shot at. After waiting in my deer stand well after dark to make sure the buck left the area I was lucky enough to get a shot at him right at day break on saturday morning. He is by no means a monster, but he is my best deer. That same evening, one of my buddies killed his first buck. It was an 8-pointer and is shown on the right in the picture of both deer. Thought I would share!

Where is your farm in Breckinridge County? We have one right outside of Cloverport.

Right outside of cloverport as well. It is on Brier Fields Lane off of hwy 992. I believe you and I spoke once before. Is your located on Iron Ore Hill?

Brett, I shot him with a .243 cal. I love that gun, its a good long range gun and this weekend it proved it can shoot through a good amount of brush since I shot him about 80 yards away in a thickett.
