Hey guys, I have a 98 200 Venom on a 98 Javelin 409. When I start it the water temp light and buzzer come on then about a minute later the light goes off. It'll do it with the engine cold or warm. Do you think it could be the impeller needing to be replaced or am I over looking something? Other than that the motor runs and sounds great.
Water pressure at start up and running? When was the last time you replaced the water pump? Checked head temps? Could be a flaky gauge.
No WP at start up until i tap the gas, then the gauge jumps up and settles back to 3-5 psi at idle and the pee starts. I've had the boat 2 years and never replaced the pump, no idea how old it is.
