Why don't you just measure how much line you need, then add 12" just for safety's sake, and then go to your dealer and have them cut you off what you need? I just did that, and it was $5.50 per foot. They'll also have the proper clamps, and you'll be sure to get the proper diameter line for your engine. Easiest thing to do, imo.
Thanks, Is this a good fuel hose in the first post?

Get the B1-15 if you are not going to use BRP fuel line.
That is a quality hose, much better than the unknown no-name import hoses
Use A1-15 rated hose for anything under the deck as it has to pass a 2 minute direct flame test. It is also the required hose by Federal law for inboard gasoline engines.
Use B1-15 for outside lines such as from the transom fitting or primer ball to the motor.
Your motor requires 3/8" inner diameter lines so make sure all the fittings are also 3/8" and not 5/16".

If your motor or boat was built after Jan 2011, then you have to use the -15 type hose according to EPA. If they are earlier models, then use the regular A-1 lines.
You can use A-1-15 anywhere you want as that is the safest hose made at the moment. It is normally thicker than the B rated hose.

That is the exact same line that I used for the entire run. I bought a 50' roll because it was cheaper per foot but now I have a whole lot left over.Wanna buy half?
Already bought 25' sorry, should have posted this earlier, oh well. I paid 2.00 a foot for it, trying to figure out what hair jig bought for 5.50 a foot. That seems pricey unless it's stainless braided!

He probably bought BRP certified hose not aftermarket.

Like CM said ... I bought BRP fuel line. But I only needed 5 feet.
Let's see ..... If you're going from the tank to the motor you need what? About 10 feet? You bought 25 feet @ $2.00 ... that's $50.00. If you had went to the local dealer and bought 10 feet of BRP @ $5.50/ft that would have been $55.00. I would have paid the $5 difference and got BRP fuel line. Not saying you did the wrong thing, but I'm very satisfied with my choice.
I`m not knocking you, just thought it was pricey! I am in no way trying to start an arguement. Sorry if it came off that way. Now that I see the BRP logo has come into play,I know why it was pricey. I needed 18' dual tanks then to the motor and a little extra for whatever. Sorry again.

No apology necessary.I didn't take your comments personally. Everyone of us usually have a few options when it comes to things like this, and we each have to make our own decision. This place is absolutely fabulous for advice and information. But in the end ... we have to take that advice and info and form a conclusion that works best for us. I admire the fact that you came and asked for advice. That shows that you are concerned about doing it right. I ask for advice on here so much that ChampioNman has threatened to have a hot line put in his shop just for me.

Hey guys since were on the topic of fuel line.....I was going to replace all of mine from the tank to motor, but when I disconnected the lines at the tank the inside of the lines still look new??? Should I just leave well enough alone , or replace anyways??? If I don't need to spend The money it would be nice not to have to .
But the lines are 24 years old so I am thinking I should Replace.
Where is the most common place for the lines to go bad ???
