    Anyone have a LGC3000

I am trying to diagnose my GPS. I am getting GPS Module not responding. I beleive I have a bad module but was looking for one to do some Diagnosis with. It has acted up periodically since I bought the boat new in 08. It completely stopped yesterday on Barkley. LMS520c networked with 522, E35 Temp, and LGC3000. The network is getting power because it recognizes the 522 and the temp sensor. Also have 12v going to the LGC3000.

Good luck on finding one of those, real hard to come by. A 4000 will work, u just have to have an adapter for it to work.

What is different from a 4000 vs a 3000? And if someone has a 2000 could I use it for diagnosis?

I have one that I can mail to you. I have already replaced this one with a LGC 4000...Lowrance has the serial number. It was weak but still working when I took it off the boat...Lowrance replaced it with a 4000 for a little over $100.

I still have a 3000 on the front that I am thinking of replacing with a 4000 also...the 4000 acquires more satellites at higher signal strength, and updates faster.

You might think of doing the same thing.

I will be at my place near Aurora, KY near KY Lake on wed to sat...can have the 3000 with me if you are going to be around the lakes area.
