Many Thanks and one last question

I have an everstart marine cranking battery in my boat... It has not been charged in a month or more and it shows 13.7 volts... I have a snap on digtal meter and a sears digital meter... It reads the same on both meters.. I tested the meters on two other battery's and they read 12.6 volts as they should.... The boat battery is disconnected from all cables and still reads 13.7 volts.... Is this right or is something wrong with this battery ??????? Many Thanks for the help with the stator.... New stator and rectifier installed and seems to be running good, at least in the barrel... Hope to get on the lake in a day or so...

Has it been freshly charged? That would be about right for one off the shelf with a fresh charge on it.
