cell phone reception

Do you guys have reception on the water on Dale Hollow? I know most of the lakes around here in Ohio it is hit and miss. A couple guys I am going down there with were wondering.

i do with verizon,, my work nextel /sprint is hit or miss at times of the day and night its full signal other times its acting wacky.The sprint works better then the nextel though ,im guessing they still arent using the same towers down that way maybe???

Spotty but I do get reception on Dale with Blue Grass

ATT has no service on the lake at all. Coming out of Burkesville you have service until the 8 mile marker then it is VERY spotty going down 61. I bought a Verizon pay as you go cell phone just for Dale Hollow. The plan that I got does not cost me a penny until I make a phone call, then it is unlimited $3 for the full day until midnight. At first I had a Frankfort Kentucky number and I was constantly roaming on the phone down there so I changed and got a Celina TN number and now I don't roam at all down there. Sprint, Bluegrass Cellular and Verizon are the only 3 that I know that has service down in that area consistently. ATT says they are going to try and get a tower in the area but they have been saying this for 4 years. When you cross the TN state line there is a store on the right then another on the left. Just before the store on the left you can pull off the side of the road and there is about a 100 yard stretch that you have ATT service.

At&T has been trying to buy a back corner of a neighbors property for a tower right at the state park road and 449.But he hasnt buckled yet,he had a verizon and sprint booster put in a few years ago.So needless to say i have full signal at my place.and yes it screws the whole phone was out of service excuse,, Though i have tried i dont know where my charger is

I was at Dale maybe 3 years ago. I've got Verizon and it was very spotty all over the lake.
