Indiana Fishin Expo 2011 - All about fishing show

    http://www.indianafishingexpo.com/index.html

    JANUARY 29TH. & 30TH. 2011 @ JOHNSON COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS

    Details:
Welcome to the 6th. annual Expo. January 29th. & 30th. 2011 will usher in the sixth annual Indiana Fishing
Expo. We have watched the show grow year after year. Even during the last few years when the economy was less that spectacular we continued to grow and bring in top notch vendors. We feel we have accomplished this by sticking to a couple very simple ideas. We have stuck to the premise that it will be fishing related and never let a vendor in that is not fishing related. Mission accomplished. Second, were not about money or greed. When the economy went bad, we lowered all our prices to accomodate the vendors and patrons to make sure they could afford to come. This will never change. We are here for the vendors and patrons, period.

What to expect When attending one of our shows you will find all fishing related vendors and products. No sham-wows, no ginsu knives or satelite companies. We have some of Indiana's most recogonized names lined up as guest speakers. They know our waters and the best techniques to put them in the boat and will teach you to do the same. We always promote the small tackle companies and love getting our vendors involved. We have several companies who show case their products by building/installing and how to right on site.

    ******************************

I have been to this show for the last 3 years, each year it keeps getting better. Stop by and say Hi.

    Thanks,
    AJ

I will be there selling some of my hand ties and tube insert heads for some of you guys who like those stupid things! I will be bringing a lot more with me this year than last, and as 'avid' says, it just gets better every year.

Thanks, fellas. We try hard to put on a quality show. We are not show promoters, but we do bust our butts for everyone that comes, vendors and patrons alike. I hope the weather accommodates us this weekend for a good time.

    Re: (thollowell)

Curious, does anyone know if there will be boats at this show (used)? Or is it just for tackle?

    Thanks, b

No boats dealers... There will be two boats there but they for Bluewater LED (light installs). One Basscat and I'm not sure what the other is.

Guys, went to the show yesterday morning. If you are in the area, there is no football on today (ProBowl doesn't count).
There really were some great deals and some really good looking products from smaller localized companies that are great to work with. Was really happy with the show.

Honestly wasn't much there, walked out and went to the outdoorsman on 135 and saw more lures.

    Re: (skeeterator)

I am not usually confrontational, but you can't say that with a straight face. Redshad, JD Lures and Buckey Baits had twice as much tackle as the Outdoorsman by themselves. I will just assume you're associated with the Outdoorsman. If you feel you were cheated out of your $3.00 send me your address and I will send your money back and $20 for your gas even though I personally think you're wrong...
