I have been having issues with the motor on the initial start. When i hit the start button it runs for a bit then shuts off. I tried decarbing the motor it seemed to help im burning Xd 50 is there anything else to try.

Have the plugs been replaced lately? Are they properly indexed?
When was the last time the fuel filter has been replaced? And as Erich says plugs? If running in cold temps it would behoove you to swap to XD-100 for better oil flow.
I replaced the plugs after I did the decarb procedure and they are indexed properly
Ill try the fuel filter as well the guy i bought the boat from said the filters were changed. How much does a marine dealer typically charge to change the computer for xd 100
