My cranking battery is toast. I need to replace it. I run a 150hp mercury black max and run 2 5" graphs (one is a GPS, and i hope to upgrade the other soon.) and i livewells and whatever else. I have the cranking battery on an on-board charger if that makes any difference.
I want something that performs well and doesn't cost a fortune. I am on a college student budget.

I replaced my Interstate last year. It ran very well for 4 years (I got 5 years out of my TM batteries) and it's under $90.

Get you a SRM27HD interstate if you want to stay under 100.00. We have started putting all AGM31 in our new boats because of all the high dollar electronics, they pull a lot of power.
what places carry those batteries? Autozones? or do I have to go to a marine store.

Go to your yellow pages and that should tell you which way to go on finding a dealer.
