coldwater michigan - anyone been there?

Heading up there for a fun trip in a few weeks - never been. Wondering if anyone on here has been up there fishing for LM or SM?

Been on several of those lakes in the area. Mainly LM. Flip the boat docks, reeds and lily pads.

That's pretty much what I'd suggest. I've been to the chain of lakes north and west of Coldwater many times, when I lived in Indiana. Fishing there is like anywhere else...if you hit it right, it can be really good. I think there are about 5-6 lakes in the chain I'm talking about, most are fairly small and really easy to fish. Boat traffic can be a major pain in the summer on weekends...just like anywhere else.
