As far as a range close to you the closest one that I can think of us in fern creek. I am a member of the pineridge now hunters club in new Albany but that isn't exactly close to you but you are welcome to give me a call and we will do shoot or I have 57 acres that you can come practice if ya want I'm always looking for someone to shoot with.
Also patoka has a range that way you can fish and then go practice some. I guess its still open. I usaly out in elsewhere so I don't have to pay the gate fee. So someone correct me if that one is not available any longer.

Jefferson County Sportsmans Club might be right up your alley.

I have seen some nice fish come out of there - was a member for two years; my buddies didn't go like they used to, so I dropped out since it wasn't as fun solo. Nice place!
