What happened, did you guys fish out your spot?
The flathead were biting pretty good on Sunday, on crankbaits! Pulled a 6 lber off of a flat, he was in maybe 2 ft of water!Had another one bite and run off, but couldn't do anything with it or slow it down...must have been a VW Beetle fish. Don't know if that helps you any or not, but maybe they're shallower than you were fishing?
We fish a channel break, and as long as the bait has been there the flatheads have been there. We did notice alot of fry up shallow, so we should have moved on from there but we stayed put.
What rod, reel outfit you using? I guess I needed to me there with my Shimano/StCroix rig to land that dude.......

And as Mike said, there are definitely a ton of fry out there! I feel like that's why the bass fishing is so rough! Good grief!

It was from one of the ky lake rallies id say but dunno if it was this years or not ,,im thinking someone had some leftover from this year they were selling ,But not sure who it was.
That was a BBC rally shirt from 2007.
