My side work. What I did Saturday morning.

This is what I do for a side job. We Started on this 300ft fence row Saturday morning. Got 75 ft done in 3.5 ours.

    Beginning.

Getting ready to start. My business partner Shawn and 15 year old sone Connor

    We have started.

My 13 year old son Kraig and Shawn(partner)

Kraig and Connor making money the good way.

Finished 75 foot section. 225 to go.

We couldnt get the trees out of the fence with out cutting into fence. We are looking to maintain this row once we are complete. We also do stump grinding.

That's too much labor...why wouldn't you just spray it and then come back later to pick up the dry dead stuff?

It is harded to remove the dead stuff than the green. Also when you spray you have to deal with the poison also....I will spray the fence once we are done.....

That's hard manual labor I cleaned miles of fencerow as a kid for *makework* with nippers and axes. Dad couldn't stand the thought of me loafing as a kid so he always had chores lined up besides the tobacco and hay and milking.

Did a few fence rows in my day. Dad wouldn't let me take his chainsaw because I'd cut my leg off Good old fashioned sweat makes a boy into a man.

Suppose to be around 110 heat index about 4 pm, drink plenty of cold beer i mean water and be real carefull out there. I had a buddy who fished the BFL yesterday and he nearly had a heat stroke yesterday.

I would die of heat stroke if I tried that in this heat and my kid would run at the mention of him helping me (even paying him for it). You should see him attempt to rake leaves. You got some really good kids to help you with that.

Kroger had 32oz gatorades for .69 each if you bought 10 I bought 20 and a case of bottle water......We hydrate throughout the day...I will drink over 128 ozs of water before i begin. Yes my boys work hard they got a little chippy at each other yesterday about threw down in parking lot. I had to slap them around throw water in their face and settle them down. Other than that they are GOOD boys and work hard.......We will be at it again today....
