Update from our our Orlando Fl ordeal.

Well after my family went back down for his trial yesterday, the little SOB plead guilty to hitting me in the back of the head, to hitting the police officer and resisting arrest. All of which violated his parole for hitting a teacher. He got some time and 3 years probation after that. 200+ lb 6' 14 year old.

My faith in the inner city youth was silghty restored while there. The big reason he went ahead and plead is one of the boys on his football team saw what happened. He and his mom thought he needed to testify because it was the right thing to do. He never had to testify but. To him and his mom.

Would you mind sharing the location of where this attack took place? I am just curious because I take the wife and kids to Orlando twice a year and would like to avoid this area. Sorry for what you guys had to go through.

You know, that's a great thing that kid was going to do. Hearing that makes me feel pretty guilty about lumping all inner city youths into the same category. I guess that's a good reminder that you shouldn't stereotype folks.

Kudo's to that kid's mom...she obviously is bringing him up right... Makes you wonder how a kid can be on a football team with that kind of record.
