    I can't afford that, that's why I'm going as a non-boater!

I may need a coangler, not sure yet. I don't like committing to these early tournaments.

I understand - last year it was rain...a couple years prior it was snow...then another it was wind. I'm registered and on the waiting list, so if you decide to jump in, let me know and I'll gladly give you my FLW member number.

There's always a shortage of boaters, b/w the co-angler club guys that fish just to get spots, the guys that choose or are not able to buy boats and let someone else make the payments, and the guys that fish co just because they don't have the stones to fish against the big boys, there will always be a shortage of boaters.

Easy there big feller. I've got the stones, just not the time. It's stupid to drop $200 without any practice or at least a game plan, especially in the LBL division against the local yocals.

Besides, $100 for a guided trip isn't too bad, especially if you draw out a local yocal!

Well isn't that just a convenient way to snake a bunch of spots and techniques without having to put in the work yourself. If I can't do it on my own, I won't, guess that's just me.

Yea I get it perfectly well, you live in da lou and want to fish tourneys on your home lake but don't have the time to go practice to play with the locals. I get it, I just wouldn't get a dime's satisfaction catching someone else's fish to draw a check when I have a boat sitting in the garage. When you say things like "$100 for a guided trip with a local is awesome" it pretty much proves my point.

Just going fishing, that's all. If I get a check, then cool, and if not, so what. And it's not like I'm catching anyone's fish either...the boater always has first crack at it, I'm just being the clean up man. I wouldn't mind being your cleanup man

im a boater, and always have been....BUT if it wasnt for the co-anglers there wouldnt be a tournament for the boater On the flip side, if it wasnt for the boater there would be no ride for the co-angler
