Won the USA Bassin Regional on Rough

Well for my first time on the lake and my buddies 2nd time,i cant say we did to bad at all.Didnt have a good practice at all,just a bunch of slots and only one legit 15incher...started on our fist spot this morning and caught a keeper slot fish and 2 15 1/2inchers,things are going better than what i thought already...hit our second spot and my partner catches a 10inch ky and following behind it was the biggest fish ive ever seen,we guessed it to be around 9+lbs,it came all the way to the boat trying to take the jig out of the kys mouth and at one point even ate half the ky but would not eat my jig I dropped in front off its face,it was awesome though...we stayed on that spot for nother 3-4 hours and caught a 3.34,a 3lber and also culled our other slot with a 15incher,we ended up with 11.61lbs and won by over 3lbs,the last couple weekends for me has been great to say the least and this win broke in the new boat very nicely Thanks for all the info guys,but to tell you the truth we found our own 2 spots that ultimatly won it for us,but thanks anyways

Was you close to the dam or did you go up towrads the other end(s) of the lake? We have our club classic there this coming weekend.

I fished that tourny too.Man it was tough fishing that day,but me and my partner did make the cut.I cought 1 keeper,it was a 2.5 pound bass and we were the last boat to make the cut,with one fish.talk about lucky.I guess we`ll see you guys at ky.lake .I hope to catch more than one fish,lol.
