    89 XP 200 VRO

The engine has VRO off of it now. I have the vro pump assembly and all parts to put it back on. Previous owner says he took it off out of fear and not due to problems.

My question is would you guys put it back on or leave it off??

How is it pumping fuel without the pump? Or did you just unhook and plug the oil side>?

Just test the horn. The 4 wire system/horn sounds the horn for all conditions and when the key is turned, the test tone will sound. The VRO is a very good system and gets a bad rap. In my years of working on these I have seen maybe a handfull of real VRO non=oiling failures. But it is your choice..You could always run the VRO fully configured and add some oil to the tank.

Further investigation finds that the VRO pump is still on the engine with just the oil side plugged. So I have an extra!!! And the horn does sound. Just got to find a tank as the old one is gone. I like the idea of having it on there.

May have one of those. You'll need the oil line and primer bulb also.

What would you have to have for it?? Also I seen while looking for them something about a sending unit??? The pump is plugged and the oil line is still in the engine plugged off as well. But it dead ends in the bilge area where the tank would go.

So I am going to say that I need the tank and any associated parts including the bulb.

Sorry but I am new to putting one back on so if it isn't there I may not know I need it!!!

Tank and low oil sender are included. As is the harness. But to avoid a 5 page exchange please revert to IM.
