Dale Hollow 12/11

My father and I went to Dale Hollow today and braved the cold morning air. It was a nice day despite the temps. I boated 6 on the fly and 2 on the jig and he was having trouble hooking up and boated one on the jig. Not a bad day with 9 fish (7 slots, 2 unders) and probably that many more bites on the jig. Fish were mostly in the mid part of the creeks to the back and in shady areas. Fly was set at 10' using duck/blue/pink. It sure was nice to finally hook up with a few on the fly. I took a couple pics of the larger ones that were right at 4lbs.

Some nice ones Daniel. Me and Dad are going to head over there for a few days soon i might it you up on here for some pointers i have never been on Dale!

Let me know before you go and I can give you some tips. I know you fish Ky lake so you should have plenty of football head jigs to use

Nice fish Daniel.....the way you are dressed am glad I decided no to try it. Seems each winter I have a harder time keeping warm.
