    Goin Bowling!

Kentucky possibly going to a bowl game for the 4th year in row. First time in school history that has happened. My not be a big deal to some of the big football schools but it is a big deal to us. You have to start somewhere. I am very excited about it. Its not always been pretty but well take it. GBB!

We need to enjoy while we can.....basketball is crankin' up! I'd take one of of the next two and be satisfied. I'd take a Georgia win, but the Vols would be better!

    Re: Goin Bowling! (JC25)

We do have a Basketball team, called JWU, John Wall University. I am already tired of hearing how great he is and how he will be the first player drafted in the NBA draft next year. They talked more about him during the Morehead State game than the actual game. He will have to average 25-10-10 to equal all the hype he is getting and unless he is "the next big thing", I don't think even he can live up to all this pre-season hype. Dick Vitale picked him in the top 3 for his National Player of the Year as well.

I don't know about that.....Vanderbilt dang near beat them, as well as Louisville...I think they're hanging on by a thread, and wins against both TN and GA are a little far fetched...they might get one if they're lucky but I see two losses in their future...especially with Hartline out for 2 games.........

They've made it this far with some key interceptions.....without those this thread wouldn't exist....

Not at all, just making some observations. You UK guys keep your heads in the clouds way too much! Someone has to pull you back down to reality!

no, I know we suck and will most likely lose the next two games. But we're still better than UL

I was making my assumption based solely on the play of UT and GA... both are talented just not good football teams this year. and I like underdogs

UGA found a little bit of their stride this weekend! I have confidence we'll beat the kittens pretty good this week!

they did turn it around against AU, I'll give you that. Auburn as well as WV can be just as destructive to themselves, so take it with a grain of salt.

A win is a win. No matter if its by 1 or by 40. I don't know if we will beat GA or TN but we have a shot at it. I for one am glad to see Newton at starting quarterback. I never have thought Hartline was the man for the job.

Looks like we may be bowling somewhere other than TN this year, bout thought it was over when they called Newton bootleg in end and almost got a safety, glad they pulled it out, poor Cox is gonna get it from the GA faithful, now if we can give Kiffin a lil' taste....

Georgia pretty much handed it to us. HOWEVER, IMO the difference in where our program is now and where it was before Brooks arrived, is that now we are in a position to take games when they are handed to us. I can't remember how many times in the last 15 years we have had FL, TN, and GA on the ropes and they were giving us the game and we just couldn't get it done. Last night we were able to capitalize on the mistakes GA made and we even caused some of the mistakes. Kudos to Brooks and the Cats! Huge win for the program.

    Re: Goin Bowling! (uk_bassman)

I'll say that eating crow ain't that bad!!!

I didn't get to watch the game b/c it wasn't on at the lake this weekend, but my phone blew up afterwards and I got wind of some of the "issues". JOE COX SUCKS!!!!! I've hated this clown all year long! He's made mistake after mistake all year long but there's not much else for option right now. I'm a bit disappointed in Richt for not having thought past the Stafford era!

Good win to the cats, but as mentioned, UGA gave it away! That's twice in the past 5 years ya'll have beaten us. Has that ever happened?
