I want to get a couple of new rods for soft plastics and small jigs. I was looking at models that are MH action and under 7 ft. I like the split grips handles of these rods and they make models from 6'8"-6'10. Do any of you guys use any of these models? Likes? Dislikes?

I will second the Kistler Helium's. Got 2 7' MH and throw them all the time. Only problem is I don't have 3 of them.

Kistler makes a great rod, I have been using them for about 4 years. I have tried other rods, but always go back to Kistler. Probably have fifteen, and like them all.
Out of the 3 rods you have listed I have owned two of the brands, Powell & Falcon.
I have a Kistler (older model) but do not use it much at all. To heavy action/to short.
The Falcons & Powell rods are great, and still use mine all the time.
That being said I have found me a new rod company and so far have two of them.
One is 7'-7" & weighs 4.1 oz the other one is 7' & weighs 3.7oz. Not cheap @ $239 but well built. http://www.phenixrods.com/prod...-rods/
Our resident rod builder dpage70/ David Page has seen them and was very impressed with how they where built.
Other than that just an ol coots 50 cents worth of information.
